Adrian Mole and the Weapons of Mass Destruction.

Arr I always was a fan as a wee laddio. The bird got me the latest in the series by Sue Townsend for Crimbo. Was well chuffed because I didnt even know there was a new one. Remember that my mate Keith and myself were obsessed with Adrian Mole, it was the funniest thing - ever.

For those that have read the Cappucino years and the others, Adrian is now in his mid 30's. His son Glenn is now in the Army and his youngest, William lives with his mum in Nigeria. The book opens as he is about to buy his swan-infested Loft apartment. He gradually gets into more and more debt and TBH seems to be heading for a nervous breakdown.

Its good (in a way) to see that Moley is still a hopeless berk. He is still angry at everything and a million miles off where he wants to be. He has turned into a grumpy old man before his time, a typical Daily Mail reading twat. Pandora and his school mates are all getting on with their lives but to me he still seems to be a kid. He is completely incapable of living on his own and managing.

Brilliant brilliant book. Dont really wanna spoil it for people that are 'in' to Aidy.... If you liked the old ones- you must read this book.
