To be fair Milners, that's easy to say in hindsight. You may well have seen his debut for the reserves (Sept time?) but all the info that I have heard is that he was very "green" to start with, probably when you saw him, but had supposedly came on a bundle since then and looked a real player. I know others had heard this as well from very good sources. Obviously yesterday he looked anything but a decent player.
However suggesting that you would lay Celtic/back Clyde simply because there was one player in the Celtic team who you saw have a bad game on his debut for the reserves is a bit OTT IMO.
Celtic should be good enough to "carry" a poor player in games where the opposition is of Clyde's standards. 9 times out of 10 they will be, yesterday was the 1 time out of 10 when they weren't good enough.
