Re: Non League Midweek - 9/10th

Komp,

This one may interest you then mate. As mentioned ny Muze I've just had a couple of points on Merthyr to beat out-of-form Mangotsfield.

Mangotsfield have been decimated by injuries and suspension the last few weeks and that has seen them slide down from the top of the table. The last few matches has seen them be very lucky in getting draws .

SQUAD/INJURY NEWS

"Mangotsfield United are likely to be without Gary Warren (ankle ligaments), Ellis Wilmot (hamstring), Ross Casey (hamstring), Luke Prince (thigh) and Tom White (unavailable) ahead of Tuesday night's southern league fixture against Merthyr Tydfil."

(A good page for Sothern Prem links btw http://www.tigerroar.co.uk/links.php)

This should set the scene for you Kompy:

"It's now eight games since Mangotsfield United won a league fixture and after another poor performance it is hard to see where the next win is coming from. Despite making an encouraging start an injury hit Mangotsfield once again fell away and were indebted to Drew Shore's stoppage time strike which salvaged a point at bottom of the table Cheshunt who were searching for thier first win in eleven matches"

From their offical site :http://mangos.freehosting.net/

Did I mention management changes btw? Last night their assistant manager resigned after allegedly having a falling out with the manager...

And what of Merthyr? Well they're 3 awaiy wins on the bounce (allbeit against poorer teams) and I would class them at not a team to place your mortgage on under any circumstances as their forms been extremely patchy this season.

However, the 11/5 at Corals looks really good considering the above.
