Re: Australian League 19/1

Sydney FC will have to beat Queensland to finish second for a automatic place in the semi final, with absences of their first-choice central midfielders Terry McFlynn and Ufuk Talay. The injury blow means Dwight Yorke retain his position in central midfield with Steve Corica, Matthew Bingley and Robbie Middleby all in contention .
Sydney will make further changes with Mark Rudan and Andrew Packer challenging youngsters Jacob Timpano and Mark Milligan for a start in defence.
Queensland may be out of finals contention but the side still has a big say in the battle for the top four with matches against Newcastle and the Central Coast following the Sydney encounter. The side is looking for its first win over Sydney in five attempts with coach confirming recent acquisition 17 years old sensation David Williams will make his A-League debut at some stage on Saturday. In team news, Chad Gibson (knee), Osvaldo Carro (shin) and Spase Dilevski (suspended) are all ruled out. Warren Moon and Todd Gava have been recalled.
Queensland Roar coach Miron Bleiberg:
"We have had opportunities to beat Sydney in the past and we will be giving it everything to make sure that we do it this weekend. Despite last week’s loss the team spirit is good and we will fight until the last minute of the last game. We will try desperately to repay our loyal home crowd with a win this week. We should have another healthy attendance at Suncorp Stadium and we want to send them home with smiles on their faces this time.”
Sydney FC coach Pierre Littbarski:
"I think we will make a few changes to the starting side for the match on Saturday with Queensland. The players seem tired and there is no point pushing them into the ground so the best thing to do is to rest a few players. We have some very capable players who have been on the bench and it may be time for them to have a start.” With both sides fielding a couple of fresh players will chance over 2.5 (3/10) and a medium bet on Sydney at 0/0.5 (4/10). Lets hope for a good beginning to the night .......
Good Luck N Cheers
