I can say i was on noddding terms with Beckham, just b4 he met that arrogant twat 'Posh' he used to shop in Tesco's on his way home from training @ the cliff.
In fact i thought he knew me, as he used to wear a cap and keep his head down and kept looking up and glancing @ me as i was doing the Bolero down the aisles for a laff with my daughter who was only a nipper @ the time and sat in the trolley basket seat to keep her amused.
It got to the stage where he used to peek @ me and smile so i used to let on thinking he knew me but i didnt reply cause i knew the face but thought he was someone that lived near me so i just let out "allright m8" being polite.
After a few weeks i realised who it was but still kept on nodding terms as he was a red but saying that he wasent arrogant in any way as he's made out now in fact the opposite , he was quite shy and ate Walls sausages like the rest of us.

,I Also knew Matt busby's personal nurse in his last days, not celeb status i know but she was a good person who i'll never foget, i was sparking @ the time in the private home she was in and we got talking, next thing i knew she brought out a load of photos and memoribilia , i sat there for hrs listening to her and talking in general ,what a woman ,salt of the earth and deserved all the comforts of life she got in the end.

But my greatest claim to fame is Wasim Akram borrowing my drill to put a light fitting up, they dont come much bigger than that
