My understanding of it is there's 2 semi finals........One at 8.12 and one at 9.12 The first three dogs past the post in each race go onto the final.....three from each race hence another 6 dog race.
Seen's tip was for tuttles ronaldo to win the final. Before either of the races have been run - ie before tuttles has even qualified for the final, the price on tuttles was 6/1 which he thinks is good value. After the 8.12 race if tuttles qualifies(which it did) it's price to win the final is gonna be less than 6/1 hence it's not as good a bet now.
He also recommended betting it (2 points) to win the heat at 8.12
It didn't win though, it came 3rd so the 2 point bet lost.
Now you can still back it to win blue riband but the price will not be as good.
Did that make sense ?
