To add to Docs defence I think he actually meant (on reflection) if both of your cards are higher than a 9 and you need BOTH cards to be active in order to make the straight then it has to be the nut straight. That would be correct of course.
So he obviously wasn't getting confused with the old J10 saying. Doc just doesn't do 'wrong' when it comes to things like this. (The smug bastard
