I know this isnt on for 2 months but we can always resurrect the thread nearer the time.
Always a pleasure to watch this contest I find. I was basically wondering what you golf fans thought about Europes chances. I would have thought theyd be firm favourites but the odds are really quite close which came as a suprise to me. A couple of books go down to 4/6 for Europe and many are 8/11 but on
Betfair you can get matched at 10/11 after commission. This strikes me as possible great value.

As this shows, Europe have won 4 from the last 5 encounters including absolutely spanking the US in 2004 and a fairly comfortable win in 2002. Its being played in Ireland for the first time this year, I dont really hold any sway in the home turf being an advantage but it 100% cant be a disadvantage anyway. Woosnam is in captain of Europe and Tom Lehmann the US captain.
I cant help feeling a lumpy bet on Europe and cheering your guts out on them is called for.
