Final is in about 45 mins - no bookies pricing it up and no odds on Betfair but I got prices without too much trouble from sticking a few requests up on Betfair(probably cos they are dreadful value.)

Anyway, 2 canoeists really stood out in the semi which took place this morning.

Slovakian Michal Martikan finished about 1 second ahead of the rest, and that was with 2 penalty seconds for touching a gate - had he gone clean he'd have destroyed the field. David Florence from GB looked very good too - he finished 4th but again, that was with 2 penalty seconds for a minor touch on the gate - those in 2nd and 3rd both went clean and Florence was quicker than them both.

There's a few other contenders but this pair look to be the class to me, Martikan head and shoulders above the others tho.
