Agreed that it's unfunny and generally pretty useless (the Guardian preview, not
TDP 
), but then it's a general newspaper, not a specialist football one. I dare say there must be other papers/magazines/websites that have previews of more use from a team news point of view, and so they've obviously decided to go for a different approach. A poor one, admittedly, but a different one nonetheless.
