Re: Midweek Brasilerio

Santos - Cruseiro

Wanderley Luxemburgo is no doubt KING FOR BRASILIAN soccer. He made miracles earlier in his career, and he makes miracles in this season. To be true Santos is medium strong Brasilian squad, but with Luxemburgo on the helm they are running sky high this season, and they were on of the team I love to bet on. Santos have 4-3-3 form in last 10 games, but they had one bad period when they lost 3 and drew 2 games in 6 weeks. Now they are 3-1-0 in last 4 games and have perfect oppurtunity to continue in winning streak. Luxemburgo gave his players monday off after 1-1 draw against Parana in Sunday (Santos missed penalty in that game...), and they started with practicies in tuesday, preparing for game against Cruzeiro. Only missing in that game will be influential midlefielder Chilean Maldonado (injured and with national selection), but in team is back Reinaldo after suspension.

Cruzeiro on the other hand have a lot of problems. They lost in sunday against Fluminense in last minutes of the game, 3-2, even they were 2-1 up until 70th minute. Flu showed once again that they play much better in closing minutes of the game, and won. Now Cruzeiro is in 5 games without win row, they have 3-4-3 form in last 10 games. Offcourse when the resoults are bad, coach is out. Yesterday they sacked coach Pablo Cesar Gusmão and hired Oswaldo de Oliveira (ex Fluminense coach). Well I'm not a very big fan of him. He will have a hell of a job to stay unbeaten against Santos without 4 players...

Santos @1.95 Victor Chandler 7/10
I thought a little about U/O, but... both teams can score, and H2H is leaning to OVER, but Cruzeiro just 7 scored and 6 conceded so far on away game, and Santos by defoult under team... big no bet at U/O play
