Re: Premiership: 19th August

Nice write up Man, and certainly Liverpool are definate favourites, but I just question the price a little.. Ok I am writing this with sufc tainted glasses and I will be at Bramall Lane on Saturday, but I really do feel that this will be not as easy for Liverpool than people think..There will certainly be a carnival atmosphere for the Blades on Saturday for their much heralded return to the Premiership (by erm...half of Sheffield).. United certainly are difficult to eat at home and judging by their past cup matches at Bramall Lane against Premiership opposition (Liverpool, Arsenal, Leeds) they have not been beaten in 90 minutes (most recently losing on penalties against Arsenal). Motivation not to be embarrassed in the curtain raiser for the Premiership is paramount to them and if Liverpool play expecting to win they could be in for a shock. I don't think the absence of Warnock on the touchline will be a problem (some may view it as a positive!!). Also Liverpool will have one eye on next Tuesday's crucial Champions League match...

Liverpool should win, but at 1.65.....??
