Re: Premiership 26 - 28th Aug
From sky sports..
Blackburn v Chelsea
Jose Mourinho's side let slip a one-goal lead at The Riverside to suffer their first defeat of the campaign, and he will be keen to return to winning ways in the Super Sunday clash at Ewood Park - live on Sky Sports 1.
Like against Boro last season, Chelsea lost at Ewood Park in the latter stages of the campaign, as Steven Reid's lone strike gave Rovers all three points against the Premiership champions.
Despite that result, Chelsea's recent history against Blackburn has been more positive, having claimed four wins out of five against the Lancashire outfit.
Mourinho's men will also take note of Blackburn's slow start to the new campaign, with Rovers opening the season with a poor 3-0 defeat at Portsmouth.
That was followed by a midweek 1-1 draw with Everton after Tim Cahill cancelled out Benni McCarthy's strike on Wednesday evening.
Despite only four points from their first two games, Hughes will hope his new strike partnership of McCarthy and Jason Roberts can unsettle a Chelsea back-line that looked shaky at Boro.
Rovers may hand a debut to new signing Andre Ooijer after the Holland international defender completed a £2 million move from PSV Eindhoven this week.
Right back Lucas Neill is available again after being suspended for the Everton draw following his sending off at Portsmouth last Saturday.
Mourinho will hope to have Arjen Robben and summer signing Michael Ballack available for Sunday's trip.
Robben missed the defeat at Boro after injuring himself in the warm-up, while Germany captain Ballack looks to have fully recovered from a hip injury.
Joe Cole, however, remains sidelined with a knee problem and Petr Cech is still recovering from an operation on his shoulder.
Skysports.com Prediction: 1-3
Chelsea get back to winning ways against Hughes's strugglers. Player to watch: Andrei Shevchenko
