This may lack the hard fast manic nature that so endears Rags to Riches threads to us all but it has a quality to it which I feel makes this its natural home as opposed to the systems thread(if anyone disagrees feel free to move it ).

Allow me to elaborate…

Last week on the predictions league I scored 5 correct scores and it got me thinking what the odds were of doing that.

If you take the normal shortest odds for a correct score (6.5) in a 5 game accumulator it gives you odds of 11602/1 (roughly).

There are 252 combinations of 5 games from 10.

Anyone see where this is going?

I only need to hit 5 games once a year to make a profit and that’s if I pick the shortest odds each time (I will not be).

If I’ve done 5 correct scores once my ego tells me I should be able to do it about once a month
