Re: English Premiership 25-26th Nov

Early KO Charlton v Everton

Too tricky to call after the early exit of Dowie and a home win must now be number one prority to appease the Chartlon fans, Everton after a great start are now beginning to play like everybody expected from the off and are becoming no great shakes.

This has draw written all over it and theres not much to choose between these two teams player wise.

Heres the review taken from Sky..

Charlton Athletic will be counting on home comforts against Everton in the Saturday lunchtime kick-off, live on PremPlus.

The Addicks have won their last two games in all competitions at The Valley following wins over Bolton and Man City.

However, two straight away league defeats to Wigan and Reading sees them propping up The Premiership.

Everton halted their mini-slump with success over Bolton last weekend and will be looking to heap more misery on Les Reed's side.

The Toffees avoided defeat to Charlton last term after following up a 3-1 home win over The Addicks with a goalless draw at The Valley.

A thigh strain is set to keep Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink on the sidelines meaning England international Darren Bent is likely to lead the line on his own.

Reed welcomes Amdy Faye back from suspension along with Djimi Traore, who has recovered from a broken leg, although Souleymane Diawara (hamstring) is struggling.

Gonzalo Sorondo and Cory Gibbs both played for Charlton's reserves in midweek. However, the clash with Everton comes too soon for the duo.

James Beattie is set to be given a run in Everton's line-up following the injury to key midfielder Tim Cahill, who suffered medial knee ligament damage against The Trotters.

Beattie has failed to secure a regular place this season, but will likely partner Andy Johnson against The Addicks.

Simon Davies collected a thigh strain playing for Wales recently, although he is expected to be in consideration for Saturday.

Gary Naysmith, Alessandro Pistone and youngster Patrick Boyle are all sidelined, but Nuno Valente should fill in at left back allowing Joleon Lescott to play as centre back.

Skysports.com Prediction: 0-1
David Moyes' side to pinch the points at The Valley

Player to watch: Andy Johnson
