I think Albion Rovers have scored in every game theyve played this season barr one Johnny so imo Arbroath are gonna at least have to get 2. Albion have improved their home record this season at home and Cliftonhill their stadium is well known for being a shithole with a shite pitch which was last reportedly not far off the state of Albion rovers's pitch.
I actually forget how Arbroath done in the cup last week and maybe i should check that before i go any further but from what i can remember they seemed to be an improved side. Actually it was Albion wasnt it

They've been a bit of a bogey team this season, managing to scrape 2 wins against us (1 on penalties). Saturday was a lot better, Arbroath looking like getting back to somewhere near their best, 1st half especially. Albion's defence a bit shaky, with their star man Lennon playing out of position on the right, and getting regularly skinned by our left winger Stein

previous to that they got beat at home by East Stirling but i suppose it wasnt all bad for them according to arbroath fans reports

After a dreadful first half where we managed to grab a goal from (a perhaps offside?) Sellers to go in 1 up, we proceeded to create numerous chances in the second with no one putting them away through a mixture of poor finishing, one or two good saves or countless players missing the ball altogether when decent low crosses were drilled into the 6 yard area. Then the inevitable happened.......
No real surprise when Shire punished us for not killing the game by equalising but I don't think many saw the 90th minute own goal coming. I literaly didn't see it as I briefly turned away when the goal kick was taken only to turn back to see the Shire celebrating and many of the Lichtie faithful using colourful language. I've heard that Peat was arguably more at fault than Bishop but would appreciate it if someone could enlighten me. That was that and we can probably kiss goodbye to our title aspirations.
Although we created far more clear cut chances you cant really begrudge the Shire all 3 points as our lack of cutting edge up front was shocking and they dug in well and had a fair few chances themselves.
Our home form is frankly pitiful and McGlashan has got to stop playing players out of position because at the moment this isn't good enough.

What an unexpected pleasure today was! We knew Arbroath would be tough to play against as they have a definite physical edge on us and despite a closely fought 1st half we conceded the opener and I worried that we would crumble under a tide of Arbroath attacks. Despite some ropey moments and a fair bit of pressure, that didn`t happen - we battled hard and I`m proud of the boy`s determination to tough it out today, Arbroath simply had one of those days where things just didn`t click up front (I know the feeling so well!). After Dymock got the equaliser I would have settled for a hard won point but then something incredible happened - we actually got a big `break`!

as mentioned Albions manager has been tinkering with the defence and im sure its mentioned he's for some tactical changes today. Maybe he's going back to the old way with Lennon their best player back in the centre of deffence. This and me thinking that familiarity can sometimes make teams cancel each other out a bit its enough ALMOST to put me off taking the over 2.5 at 1.73 with
bet365. As mentioned albion ar always worth a goal and if arbroath can start taking their chances then thats the bet to be on for me. I couldnt say who is gonna win it though sorry.
