Re: Scottish Cup: 6/7th Jan

To me Kilmarnock always struggle against 1st division sides (morton could be considered one in effect MR C i suppose) in the cup. I think there is a bit of value on Morton but in all honesty i can't see where the gooals are gonna come from from either team. Is Linn making his debut for Morton today? He'll be cup tied surely.

Under 2.5 is 2.14 at betfair and have taken a little of that. Good luck if you go for Morton Mr C and a 1-0 win for the home side would suit me fine

Cheers for the Livi info Monty. I wont be having anymore of livi but will still want to look at it. It was only 3 or 4 games ago Livi went to a full strength Partick side with 7 out injured and won 3-2.

JOHN ROBERTSON may be forced into fielding another under strength Livingston side for their Scottish Cup third round tie at Hamilton.

Robbo had just 12 fit first-team players to choose from in Livingston's two-goal league defeat at Dundee on Tuesday.

He included 16-year-olds Jay Griffiths - who became the youngest person to play for the West Lothian club after substitute appearances against Airdrie and Dundee - Mark Torrance and David Sinclair on the bench at Dens Park.

And the Lions manager could again have to rely on youngsters given his list of injury and illness worries.

Scott Mitchell, Steven Craig and Daryl Smylie all missed the trip to Tayside due to illness and are all doubts for the Accies clash.

In addition, Neil Teggart (thigh), Liam Fox (ankle) and Steve Hislop (hernia) are all expected to be unavailable for selection. James McPake, who has been converted from a centre forward to a centre half this season, may again start up front after impressing in attack against Dundee.

The Lions drew 1-1 with the Accies in a league clash on the artificial turf in early December and despite their poor league form will be aiming for a cup win.

Robbo was confident that his side can bounce back and book a place in the fourth round of the competition.

He said: "It's not an ideal draw, I don't think we've had a home draw in the Scottish Cup for three or four years at least. I'd have preferred an away game against a big gun to generate a bit of finance.

"It's a winnable tie and it was a cracking match when we played the last time at New Douglas Park. That game could have gone either way.

"Both teams will fancy their chances of winning it, but we're looking forward to playing Billy Reid's side."

Offilong is the key i think.

Looks like the Aberdeen v Hibs game is on Wednesday so that explains that one.
