Re: Midweek Non-League - 8/9/10th

Excellent, 4,500 posts with this one as well. Well I never...:loon

As I was saying Winrew put me on to a decent bet tonight so I thought it'd be nice to stick up the analysis I have performed off the back of it.....

Worcester to beat Workington @ 1.9 (Betway)

Conference North, Monday

Stats and match reports (including Saturday's )

This game is doubtful due to the weather so people may want to wait and see on this one but I can wait for the funds to be credited back if need be.

There's quite a few games on Monday nights now for some unknown reason and unsurprisingly it's causing a few headaches for the Non League squads.

On Monday Workington have 4 players unavailable due to work commitments. Taken from their forum:

Quote:
We go to worcester on monday with the prospect of SEVEN players missing!!
Nicholson, May, Johnston and Henney all working
Birks, Goulding and Edmondson could all be out with injuries.

therefore we could muster 10 first team players, but 2 would be keepers..

Of the working lads Johnston is the top scorer with 8 from 15 games, and the others are a striker, midfielder and a center back.

Workington are in poor form at the moment with 4 losses from their last 5 games as they slide down the table. Worcester seem to save their best for the better teams in this league. They've recently beat Kettering and Droylesden at home but then go and loose to Farsley. Reports say that they had a lot of possesion playing pretty football but lacking a cutting edge.

This is also one of their longest trips at 238 miles so if it is called off it will be done so early I'd imagine.

I saw this open at Skybet for 1.8 and it's been punted in to 1.73. Stan James go 1.83 so the 1.9 at Betway is a great price given Workington's squad defficencies. Lets just hope the game goes ahead

Edit - latest news as at 10. am is a Worcester Director says the pitch is drying out so providing the forecasted rain isn't too bad it could well go ahead.

I'm having 4pts on this one btw.

Catch you all around,
