They haven't married officially and yet Paddy's have paid up. I can't complain about that though.
Awards season is in full flow. Golden Globes are tomorrow night (Tuesday morning for us in the UK). I'm flying by the seat of my pants with a variety of hit-and-hope bets and I'll have the full misery of knowing I'll have to rely on listening to
BBC Radio Five Live whilst I'm at work during the middle of the night as to whether I've won or lost.

BABEL to win
Best Picture - Drama at 8/1. The 8/1 though has since been nibbled at over
Paddy Power (down to 6/1) and
VCBet (dropped to 5/1).
Everybody's saying
The Departed will win and it probably will. There have been however some murmurings and predictions that
Babel could very well win it.
They've allowed me £23.49 over at Paddy's and £26 over at Victor's. Sorry about the lateness as it's selfish not to tell folks of a bet when the best odds are still there (they've since gone though).
I've dumped another £75 over at
bwin/betandwin because weirdly I've begun to like them even though I fear their reputation as being very, very sore losers who don't pay up on winning bets.
I might have some sports bets over at um,
bwin to try and bump up that £75 but yesterday was
absolute atrocious to my various bookies' accounts (I went busto with
Bet Direct,
Betfred,
Paddy Power ~ didn't lose £125 btw as I withdrew some of it ~ and
William Hill).
