Hmm, I'll most likely be in the minority but I just can't see the value in backing Bristol City @ 3.85ish. I'm not saying they can't win, I just don't like the price is all.
Looking at Coventry and things don't look great. However, regardless of poor form they are still 8 points above relegation and 10 points from a play off place. I guess that's how tight Championship football is. Home form isn't terrible either, average yes, but not terrible.
Looking at Bristol City's recent form and it's very good, they haven't lost since November. Away form is average though and they've only played 2 sides in the top 6, losing against both Forest and Yeovil.
Coventry do miss a few players for this fixture but not all of them are important. I'd say Elliot(defender) and Marshall (goalkeeper) are significant abscences but they can live without the rest. New signings Michael Mifsud
and Aaron Lee Barrett are ineligible because they were both signed after the game at Bristol.
The question I'd like answered is "Has Mickey Adams lost the dressing room?". Recent performances would hint that this may be the case but then again this is also the type of game where the players believe they can begin turning things around.
I also looked at the Bristol City(+0.5) option but it's coming in around 1.80ish and I'd say that it's never an odds on punt.
I may even be tempted to have a nibble on Coventry @ 2.10
