Re: Fa & Carling Cup: 23/24th Jan

Seems by all accounts Arsenal are going to play the fringe squad with Henry to date not in the provisional line up, I'd have to fancy Spurs at home if thats the case as they are a hard team to beat at home this term.
Arsenal still have enough talent in the side without the main players to make a game of it but Spurs should have the experience to overcome them imo. But Like texonja its a no bet for me and one i'd rather watch.

From the BBC..

Tottenham midfielder Teemu Tainio misses the game at White Hart Lane because of a sprained ankle.

Skipper Ledley King (bruised foot) is also out but Jermaine Jenas (ankle), Mido (groin) and Paul Stalteri (hip) have returned to full training.

Arsenal will continue to play a team of fringe and young players.

Theo Walcott should start after being rested against Manchester United but leading marksman Robin van Persie is out because of a fractured foot.

Tottenham provisional squad: Robinson, Cerny, Alnwick, Chimbonda, Lee, Dawson, Gardner, Assou-Ekotto, Zokora, Davids, Lennon, Keane, Berbatov, Defoe, Murphy, Ghaly, Malbranque, Huddlestone, Ziegler.

Arsenal provisional squad: Almunia, Hoyte, Toure, Djourou, Connolly, Traore, Walcott, Diaby, Denilson, Julio Baptista, Aliadiere, Poom, Merida, Lansbury, Randall, Adebayor,
