Re: CC Leagues and Johnstone's Trophy 12-13th Feb

Quote:
Doncaster v Crewe

Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll will assess several of his players ahead of the visit of Crewe in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy northern final second leg.

O'Driscoll revealed four of his players who featured in Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Tranmere were suffering from the bug which has swept through the club.

But the Rovers chief has no other injury concerns after Gareth Roberts returned to action at Prenton Park.

James Coppinger and Jonathan Forte both shook off hamstring and knee injuries respectively to face Tranmere and should again be involved.

Mark McCammon and Lewis Guy are pressing for starting roles as Doncaster seek to return to winning ways after the Prenton Park setback.

Crewe boss Dario Gradi has a doubt over Billy Jones after the defender was withdrawn in the recent 2-1 win at Northampton with a hamstring problem and may not be risked.

Striker Nicky Maynard could return from his hamstring problem but veteran defender Neil Cox is likely to be taken out of the firing line at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Midfielder Ben Rix is set to return from a hernia problem and could come in for Cox, who has been used in a midfield role recently.

Striker Rodney Jack was on the bench for the win at Sixfields following a calf problem and defender Julien Baudet has trained after being troubled by a minor knee problem.
