They had to make this decision IMO, what with Hayden having a broken toe although he swears he'll be fit for the 1st game, Symonds not appearing until at the earliest the last game of the 1st round, & Gilchrist out until the 2nd round. If they'd risked Lee as well then effectively they could well have had the bare 11 for the 1st couple of games & whether youre brilliant or not, thats well risky.

So Clarks made it I think thats a good decision for Australia although a pretty flawed thought process getting there
