Re: Early Freeroll Strategy

Sweet cheers Jezza i thought that. thats the bit i cant be doing with and i think if i can keep it steady and get through all that and not jump on their all-ins with things like A9s preflop i might be able to build on it. My 9th place was achieved by being extra catious at the start and just playing the good hands now i think about it Jezza.

I decided today that im gonna start putting something aside and try and just go for all the big feeder satellite thingies. I want to make every tournament a potential rollercoaster ride etc. once im sorted im gonna try play in 2 bigger tournaments as apposed to 4 or 5 smaller ones. There's folks that will turn me inside out as they know the game and i don't but i'm enjoyng comng up against them and trying to work out the way their doing things. I like looking back through the history and seeing who's been tight all game and what the winners betting patterns were like as i presume everyone must.

In my short 3 week career i see now that the best advice folks have gave me (Chris and others) is to just play the game. You can spend hours talking about it agterwards but you need to be out there and playing. As i say i see poker as a great excuse not to be doing anything behind the scenes at tdp at the mo but everyone is allowed a break. At least playing poker gets me out my bed and infront of the monitor.
