Re: Eastern European Football:

So, tomorrow started Polish Extraklasa, after winter break. First round is everytime difficult to predict, but let’s have a look at the cards.

Cracovia v Legia – no bet, as Ori mentioned, Legia is always poor starter, but still they are one of the strongest tittle candidat for me. Cracovia was not too activ on transfer markt, lost both cup games, but most of the teams played the cupgames with reserves,so this factor is not so important. Still Cracovia could make some problems to Legia. They will miss key defender Skrzynski, no other squad problems. Legia will miss Bronowicki, he is very good, can play on many positions, so rather big miss. They have also two other players injured, Junior and Szalachowski, and two defender suspended, Choto and Dick. Backing Legia this season will be a good idea, but not in this match. There are many speculations about starting strikers. The coach has some options to choose from. I like the younger pair, Janczak and Korzym, but I wouldn’t be suprised if he take experienced Wlodarczyk and newcomer Grzelak (both out of form). No doubts thats Legia is better team, but it’s better to wait, they will bring us some money next weeks I think.

GKS Belchatow v Gornik Leczna – I don’t like the odds on leader at all. They lost their best player Matusiak to Palermo, but have some new, good players in the squad (Molina, Magdon, Chwalibogowski). The visitors are in relegation danger, they have 6 new players, but no spectacular transfers, mediacore players. It’s not sure if Gornik players will play tomorrow. They want to strike, since January they earn 45% less money. Tricky one, and I skip it.

For Saturday Korona Kielce hc –1 is a must bet. Ori wrote already the reasons, completely agree.
