Barnet v Bristol Rovers
Ben Strevens is rated doubtful for Barnet's first Football League game since 2001. The 25-year-old is struggling with laryngitis, while Simon Clist (groin) and Lee Roache (ankle) are both likely to miss out. Bristol Rovers boss Ian Atkins has no injury worries to contend with. New signings Alex Jeannin, Louie Soares, Chris Carruthers and Scott Shearer hope to start while midfielder Ryan Williams is fit after illness.
Wrexham v Boston Utd
Wrexham midfielder Matt Crowell hopes to be fit despite suffering a recurrence of the knee injury which has been troubling him recently. Veteran utility player Jim Whitley remains sidelined with a hip injury but youngsters Michael Jones and Mike Williams should be fit. Steve Melton is Boston's only absentee as he recovers from a back operation.Summer signing Noel Whelan looks set to shake off a hamstring strain in time to make his debut.
Cheltenham v Bury
Cheltenham must do without Shane Duff and Brian Wilson. Duff is out for eight weeks with a broken bone in his foot while Wilson is still recovering from a broken elbow. Bury's Jon Newby is still sidelined although the 26-year-old striker has returned to training after four months out following a heel operation. New strikers Tom Youngs (ankle) and Allan Smart (knee) are fit again and Stuart Barlow, Jake Sedgemore and John Hardiker could also make their debuts
Wycombe v Carlisle
Wycombe must do without new signing Charlie Griffin, who has fractured a bone in his forehead. Keith Ryan is also absent following an operation while defender Will Antwi and midfielder Mark Philo are also injured. Newly-promoted Carlisle are without David Beharall, who injured his knee in training on Wednesday, and Chris Lumsdon, who has had hernia surgery. Midfielder Peter Murphy should be fit, while a number of the Cumbrians' summer signings are in line for their debuts.
Peterborough v Chester
Peterborough boss Mark Wright will be without Calum Willock (hamstring) and Adam Newton (knee). Youngster Adam Fry will also miss out with an ankle complaint but Andre Boucard is available for selection after shaking off an ankle knock. New signing Abdul El Kholti and defender Sean Hessey are both suspended for Chester. Craig Dove, another new face, is still out with a knee injury but City's other summer arrivals are in contention
Rushden v Darlington
Rushden & Diamonds midfielder Andy Burgess will be out for several months after breaking his leg. Drewe Broughton is also sidelined with a knee injury and a late decision will be made on skipper Dave Savage. Darlington boss Dave Hodgson has no injury worries, with five of his six summer signings hoping to start. The only one to miss out will be David Duke, who completes the two-match ban he picked up for his red card while playing for Swindon last season.
Grimsby v Oxford Utd
Grimsby must do without midfielders Jean-Paul Kalala and Ciaran Toner.
Mariners boss Russell Slade is therefore hoping Tom Newey will recover from an ankle problem. Oxford will be without Tom Winters (groin strain), Jamie Brooks and Bradie Clarke (both hip) but midfielder Stuart Gray returns after a groin strain. Brian Talbot has also included two trialists in his squad - right-back Jude Stirling and midfielder Robert Hughes - who are without clubs.
Leyton Orient v Macclesfield
Leyton Orient could have Craig Easton and Justin Miller back after they played for an hour in Wednesday's friendly at Billericay. Matt Lockwood and Gabriel Zakuani both played 45 minutes and may also return. Macclesfield are without strikers Jon Parkin (knee) and Michael Symes, although the latter has resumed training following an ankle injury. Martin Bullock, David Beresford, Kevin Sandwith, Kevin Townson and Allan Russell are in line for their debuts
Lincoln City v Northampton
Lincoln are without new arrivals Steve Robinson and Omari Coleman. Fellow new-boy Gary Birch is also battling to shake off a knock but Imps boss Keith Alexander may hand debuts to several of his 12 new signings. Northampton will be without Fred Murray (heel), Martin Smith (knee), Ashley Westwood (knee) and Chris Doig (foot). New signing Lawrie Dudfield is available after agreeing non-contract terms and fellow forward Scott McGleish hopes to shake off a hamstring injury.
Stockport v Mansfield
Stockport are missing midfielder Mark Robertson and defender Danny Griffin, who both have knee injuries. Ross Greenwood, Jermaine Easter, Tes Bramble and Danny Boshell could all make their County debuts. Mansfield midfielder Kyle Jacobs has resumed training following knee surgery but will not be ready for Saturday. Veteran defender Des Walker, who is hoping to earn a permanent contract, has been ruled out after succumbing to a hamstring problem.
Torquay v Notts County
Torquay will be without Martin Phillips (ankle) and new signing Morike Sako, who has a knee problem. Manager Leroy Rosenior's nine other summer acquisitions are included in the squad, but he is staying tight-lipped over his starting line-up. Notts County midfielder Ruben Zadkovich starts a three-match ban for his red card against Nottingham Forest in a pre-season game. Ian Richardson and Mike Whitlow remain sidelined with long-term knee injuries.
Shrewsbury v Rochdale
Shrewsbury boss Gary Peters has a near full-strength squad to choose from but Duane Darby misses out as he recovers from extensive groin surgery.
Darby has returned to training but remains short of match sharpness. Rochdale's only concerns surround midfielder Ernie Cooksey (knee) and defender Tony Gallimore (groin). Jamie Clarke is expected to replace Wayne Evans at right-back, while free-scoring Rickie Lambert will partner Grant Holt in attack.
