Dátolo and Clemente will be in the line-up for the Cup








This Tuesday Boca’s squad carried out its second weekly practice, with its mind set on this Thursday’s decisive clash against Bolívar within the Libertadores Cup. Our team needs a minimum difference of three goals in order to qualify for the next stage of the Cup.

After the morning practice at Casa Amarilla, coach Miguel Angel Russo and defender Clemente Rodríguez –who will replace Silvestre- gave their views on the match against the Bolivians.

In turn Palermo, who last Sunday suffered a traumatism in his right isquiotibial, carried out special tasks cut out for him, although it is taken for granted that he will be fit to play on Thursday.

Russo will make two changes in relation to the line-up that on Sunday defeated Newell's in Rosario. Jesús Dátolo will go in for Neri Cardozo and Clemente Rodríguez for Matías Silvestre.

Boca will line up as follows: Caranta; Ibarra, Morel Rodríguez and Clemente Rodríguez; Ledesma, Banegas, Dátolo and Riquelme, Palacio and Palermo.

*Clemente Rodríguez:

“We try to do things well. One has to keep one’s cool and continue in this way. It’s very nice to be here. Boca had trouble with the away games within the Cup and has lost points. Now, Bolívar will have to play on our home ground”.
