Very disappointed at what I thought was generally a crap match I was hoping to say its a pity there had to be a loser--- in fact its a pity there had to be a winner!
I actually thought it was a pretty good match in what was a poor tournament overall. Overall this Roland Garros was pretty bad. Of the 20 odd games I saw completely only the first three sets of Gaudio-Hewitt really entertained.

Will be interesting to see how Fed reacts to this defeat. He tried mixing it up by coming to the net a lot and taking it to Nadal but Nadal never really looked under pressure. Fed will have to play very well and Nadal very poor to beat him on clay. I suspect his best chance will come if Nadal exits against someone else like Andreev or Nalbandian as they will surely be seeded 1 and 2 in opposite halfs of thedraw for the next while.

I could also see Fed having a bad recation to this defeat at Wimbeldon. I think that Wimbdleon will be a lot more competitive this year in both mens and womens.
