Mixed day. 3 from 4 on the doubles and a nice little profit there. Unfortunately the big stakes singles bets on Wawrinka and Verdasco both lost. My nap of the day Wawrinka carried my biggest stake but in a rain interrupted match he first lost a set lead and then a game lead in the final set after play was interrupted when he was a set up. Very frustrating indeed and a poor loss for the Swiss player. Major shock of the day probably Johansson losing to del Potro. The big servers as usual did well – Guccione outshot Seppi and Querry took a set of Blake.

The British players as usual punched above their weight with both Baker and Boganovic defying underdog status to have good wins over Peya and H.T Lee.

Federer pulls from Halle so I’m going to have a serious look at the outrights there.
