Uniteds Busby babes could probably lay accolaide to the greatest team that never was b4 the Munich air disaster but off the top of my head i can think of no more International team other than Yugoslavia.
Whether they would have gone onto win Euro 92 is another matter but the Danes lifting the trophy at the time was a bit of a shock but when u look back and see the players they had at the time with Scmeichal and the Laudrup brothers etc they did posess a decent squad.

The dutch in the mid 70's to early 80's possessed a cracking team also but failed to win anything so its a question thats impossible to answer.
