Liverpool have traditionally done well in Europe because they have defended well and caught teams on the counter attack. When we play the 'small' teams (like Grazer AK a couple of years back) we have some times struggled. Liverpool under Benitez have not excelled at controlling the game and attacking. They do better when teams attack them and they can hit with the counter punch.
Liverpool will probably win, but that 3/1 price just looks too big to me.

Toulouse only got into the Champs League qualifiers due to an abandoned game end of last season and some freakish end of season results. Previous to that they finished 16th,13th and 16th in the league and prior to that were in the second division. Although their home record last year was good they suffered some heavy defeats as well. Yes they beat Lyon at home but remeber that Lyon are going through a few problems themselves at the moment after losing key players over the Summer. Just cant see the inexperienced French side getting anything against the experienced Scouse European machine. As long as they mark out Elmender which im sure Carragher can do then I cant see the French scoring and its just a case of scoring maybe 1 or 2 goals. I predit Liverpool win 2-0.
