With voting for the first ever National Movie Awards to close on Sunday, Sky Bet - the only bookmaker to offer odds on the Awards - has provided an early insight on the favourites to win.

Casino Royale and Pirates of the Caribbean dominate the films looking to scoop top honours on September 28.

James Bond will be going head to head with Captain Jack Sparrow for Best Male, with Sky Bet unable to split the two, making Daniel Craig and Johnny Depp joint favourites at 2/1.

Sky Bet's entertainment manager Helen Jacob said: "Traditionally bookmakers have shied away from offering odds on this sort of event but with TV companies now boasting total honesty in voting I am prepared to test my odds with the British public!"
