Re: 59th Annual Emmy Awards

Bodog are still allowing betting on Outstanding Animated Program!? Well I'm not telling 'em but I ain't betting on it either.

Most bookies have been on lockdown/ignored the Emmys in fear of insider betting and it's seemingly only BetED, Bodog and um, Bet24 who are still allowing bets (really, really should have got a move on as I've been distracted by trying to cover a whole load of events with varying degrees of success ranging from OK to absolute disaster). It's been really quiet this year trying to bet on the Emmys as though nobody really wants to know.

You can have a look at what the late buzz is/predictions are as to who the likely winners will be.

The Envelope.com:
emmy watch 2007 mega predictor table

Late buzz on Alec Baldwin to win Lead Actor Comedy.

What am I predicting? The Office, The Sopranos, Alec Baldwin, America Ferrera, James Gandolfini, Edie Falco and The Amazing Race.
What am I betting on? Alec Baldwin and The Amazing Race.

BET 1: £25 at 5/2 that Alec Baldwin wins Lead Actor Comedy at Bet24.
BET 2: £25 at 5/4 that The Amazing Race wins Reality/Competition Program at Bet24.

OT: I can't say I'm a fan of Bet24 and it's probably one of the worst looking sites out there. It's like an online bookie stuck in the past. I wouldn't be surprised if they shut up shop owing punters in the next six months because they spent all their money sponsoring Blackburn Rovers.
