Re: Scots Midweek 6th Nov
Two tricky ties here
Montrose v Stranraer i expect to be a reasonable game against the 2 teams who will surely be in the playoffs, and possibly the only 2 capable of pushing East Fife for top spot. I actually quite fancy Montrose to win this, on home "soil", or should i say plastic. I don't know the individual players locations off the top of my head, but it's a 3-4 hour drive from Stranraer to Montrose, so not ideal preparation on a freezing midweek night for any players making the trip from afar. Montrose also brought in a highly rated young defender from Falkirk who may slot into the squad. Funnily enough Montrose seem to be better on the road than at home this season so far, but i expect a narrow home victory tonight. Draw is always a worry though...
Dumbarton - Forfar is another interesting game, but i imagine this will be a dire contest, so i'd be laying Dumbarton at those short odds. Low scoring borefest here mefinks. 0-0 and penalties possibly deciding it, with both teams lacking firepower.
Montrose @ 5/4 is the only one i'd try at low stakes
