Re: Coca-Cola League One 4-5th Dec

Bristol Rovers look a steal at a shade over evens on betfair to get the better of Cheltenham.

The home teams recent form in all competitions is decent, reading 3-2-1 for the last 6 games. Rovers broke their home duck with a shaky win against Millwall a couple of weeks ago. After a single goal defeat in a fiery derby at Swindon, they battered Leyton Orient on chances in the FA Cup replay before going through on penalties and eased past non-league opposition scoring 5 in the process on Saturday.

The win against Leeds on Saturday was a great result for Cheltenham but the away team had more than enough chances to win the game and got hit on the break in the last few minutes. before that defeats in two cups to Brighton was a somewhat fortunate point gained at Southend who despite their position, aren't in the best of form losing 3 of their last 5 in the league.

Steven Gillespie has 4 goals in 5 outings for the away team but if Rovers can stop him they have 4 different players who have scored in the last two games so you would hope they would be confident of getting more.

The 1.72 quoted looked a little slim to me but the 2.02 on betfair is generous IMO
