Re: Coca-Cola League Championship 3-4th Dec

QPR v Crystal Palace
Four games ago these two fought out a 1-1 draw at Loftus Road. But since then their fortunes have been very different. QPR, sitting just one point above the bottom team, drew with Sheff Weds in the next game and followed that with two defeats, to Stoke and Blackpool. Palace on the other hand, have pulled clear of the relegation zone, with wins over Colchesteraway, Preston at home, and then a good draw against high-flying West Brom. They have now gone six games without defeat. Neil Warnock has made his team very hard to beat since his arrival and has been helped by an empty physio room. His only doubts for tonight are Mark Kennedy and Paul Dickov, but Matt Lawrence will be missed through suspension after getting five yellows. Danny Butterfield has recently recovered from injury and will replace Lawrence in midfiels alongside Tom Soares, who has been brilliant in the last few games. Clinton Morrison should play, despite having a virus at the weekend, and will hope to emulate his display in the home fixture where he scored a late equaliser to save Palaces blushes. That draw ended a six game winless run by Palace dating from Warnocks arrival and he has finally got the team playing his way, and now that they have turned the corner I am confident they can keep moving up the table. I am happy to lay the home team here, even though they are favourites.
