It just doesn't make any sense to me mate. If I was running an operation like that I'd want to be giving the punter their money as soon as I possibly could in order to give them the opportunity to place another bet and lose it.
I don't know if it's complacency or just a complete lack of management nouse but I really have got the impression over the last year or so that
Laddies and Will Hill are being left behind by more forward thinking bookies.
Their plan may well be to keep hold of the die hard bricks and morter punters who physically go into shops every day to place their bets but those people aren't going to live forever.
