As far as result gone, I feel Senegal have let themselves down somewhat. Despite going behind in their first game against Tunisia, they came back to level just before the break. They then took the lead, and control of the game in the second half, before being undone by a late thunderbolt of a strike. They had more than enough chances to close out the game when 2-1 ahead and probably should have done so.

Their game against Angola was also a strange one. Senegal held a deserved lead at half time in a game they had shaded slightly up until that point. The second half was much the same, Senegal possibly having the better of the possession and chances, until Manucho scored his two goals. This forced Senegal to up their game, but a stubborn Angolan back line and a goal from a counter-attack sealed the win.

South African coach Carlos Alberto Parreira had earmarked this tournament as a building exercise for the 2010 World Cup and so far it looks like they may not even be ready for that. Their opening game against Angola ended as a score draw, but only thanks to a late, long range strike. To be fair to the South Africans, they played well against Angola but never looked like they could finish off any of their chances in front of goal.

The game against Tunisia served to highlight the amount of work Parreira still has to do to get the Bafana Bafana ready for the 2010 showpiece. A crumblind defence being at fault for at least two of the goals, while their main threats in front of goal, Zuma and Modise, were forced to take potshots from 30 yards and never looked like getting any real chances throughout the game.

In summation, Senegal should be well up for the game and have been unlucky so far, in my opinion. South Africa look like a team for the future with a dodgy defensive line and two strikers who are likely to be out-muscled by the Senegalese back line and restricted to long range shots.

Senegal to beat South Africa @ 1.95 (Eurobet/JetBull) - 4 points

perhaps you confuse senegal of 2002, with this one 2008, which is VERY BAD

anyway, i think south africans will score here, so the over 2.5 goals is logic bet, i am not professional gambler like you, to search hundred booikies prices to chose the best offer, i just place bets for hobby, and nobody follows one or another unknown tipster, we all doing what we feel when we visit the bookie
