When I first started watching Derren years ago he wasn't bald and I thought he was quite tasty, not so anymore.

Quite possible as that is one of his talents. He is part magician, mind manipulator, body language studier etc etc.
The more you watch him the more times you pick up what he is actually doing. As I mentioned the one when he made the bookies pay out losing lines was brilliant, it's all to do with confusing the mind
