I believe Dumbarton had an absolute shocker that day, and Elgin were helped by the ref. From reports i've read, the scoreline was very flattering. I would read into this more how pish Dumbarton are, than how good Elgin are. They are still a poor team, and someone Stranraer should beat at home.

i wonder was edin at the arbroath v stenhousemuir game last saturday?

Aye i was there, it was quite a tight game, with neither team creating many chances. In truth, our keeper had 1 save to make, with Stennys first and only real attack of the game. We didn't come to life until our best striker came off the bench to the end of the game (still not 100% after an injury, but has become something of a super-sub). He turned it, and in the last 10 mins we should have had at least 4; a 1-on-1 missed in the last minute.
If Stenhousemuir play the same way, they should be getting beaten by the top of the league team. My only worries are that Fife are riding their luck over the past month, scraping wins here and there. Also Stenny have beaten Fife already this season...
