Re: The One and Only..

Odds for the final from yesterday's Bettingzone Market News:

1415: Meanwhile over on the BBC Lionel Richie is the joint 6/4 favourite with Sky Bet alongside Dusty Springfield to win 'The One and Only' ahead of this weekend's grand final.

Tribute artists Moni Tivony and Katy Setterfield became two of five acts to sneak through a nerve-wracking semi-final, which saw the end of the line for Simon 'Tom Jones' Abbotts and Siam Hurlock, aka Diana Ross.

Only one person can secure the performance contract in Vegas and 7/2 third favourite Frank Sinatra soundalike Anthony Adams will be hoping it's him while 8/1 shot Tony Lewis, who performs as Robbie Williams, and Cher wannabe Joanna Berns (10/1) are considered the outsiders.

=============

Will the BBC send a white guy, who's around a foot shorter than the real thing that is Lionel Richie, over to Las Vegas? Probably not but the viewers might!

I can imagine the same voters who voted for Tara Palmer-Tomkinson to win will vote for Lionel Richie for a laugh.
