Re: David Haye vs Enzo Maccarinelli

I wouldent say Haye had fought better boxers but he has fought at a higher level European wise which doesent mount to much outside the heavies.

Nothing between these two but I'm glad to see Maccarinelli take on somebody of his own standing as i'm sick of seeing him being a backup for the commentators of any Calzaghe fight and then spouting off how good he is.

Haye has fought the more classier boxer albeit them being past their best in Williams and Thompson but as both were in there forties how much can u take from them fights?

I'd like to think Maccarinelli has come on another level since joining Enzo Calzaghe and he's not short of confidence just like Joe.

Nice even fight this one and Maccarinelli's not the soft touch that a lot of people think, Hayes not so soft either and does pack a punch but i have a feeling that Maccarinelli under Enzo Calzaghe may have learnt a lesson or two and prove himself too boxing smart for Haye and win this on points.
