Re: Hippy Dave's MTTs

A Very interesting final level to this section of the tourney!

$2+$0.25 Level 7 (50/100), 6410 Chips, 4/22, 7 paid
Lose 500 in a battle of the blinds with my top pair losing to an overpair. Make a big raise on button with KQo after 3 limpers, and get all in v shortstack's 99. Catch a K on turn to win pot. Lose a few chips with 66, but get them back with Q10h next hand. Play very, very loose at this table right now.

$2+$0.25 Level 8 (60/120), 7696 Chips, 7/15, 7 paid
Flop trip aces after checking in BB with A6o, end up taking a 4000 pot against some noob with a pair of 3s in his hand.

$2+$0.25 Level 9 (80/160), 9801 Chips, 4/13, 7 paid
Donk off 1500 chips with not much against a rivered flush which did me a favour making me fold, but make it back next hand against the loose passive fish to my left. The usual tight play as the money approaches, but absolutely no point be trying to steal blinds against this idiot on my left.

$2+$0.25 Level 10 (100/200), 10701 Chips, 3/11, 7 paid
Take a pot on the turn after flopping top pair and 2nd nut flush draw in big blind. Very cagey stuff, but still no point stealing from the fish, who is in danger of taking the chip lead, but has zero chance of winning the tournament. I get a bit bored so raise it up with 68o, remarkably the fish folds and I take the blinds. Only a complete fuck up will deny me a cash here, and with prizes ranging from $4.88 to $42.70, I look like becoming a very rich man. Make a bet of 2050 into a 400 pot on the river, luckily my mistake (meant to bet 250) wasn't called!

$2+$0.25 Level 11 (120/240/25), 11001 Chips, 5/10, 7 paid
Really into blind stealing territory now, not much post flop action at all. 3 of the 4 shortstacks are at other table, so nothing really happening here. Hopefully there's some KOs soon otherwise the final table will be an all-in donkfest. No eliminations in level 11.

$2+$0.25 Level 12 (150/300/25), 12086 Chips, 4/10, 7 paid
The shortstack at my table goes out with 99 v K10, so now it's the final table. On the bubble now as a K7 beat 9th place's AQ. Seem to be getting some unwarrented abuse from player on my left. Offer a $5 side bet on who finishes higher, but looks like he doesn't want it. The fish wants in on the action too, even though he's down to 6k now. The player on my left finally accepts, and looks like I have the fish for $5 too. Both these players are in the blinds on my button, so should be some easy steals as they try to hang on.
