Brive had every chance to win this, (even with a ref with blinkers) but they were undone by a Perpignan side playing real "rugby latin".
For those unaware of this rugby "technique" its what Martin Johnson & Dalaglio did so well (though they are not alone), cheat, spit, kick etc and play the altarboy in front of the 'ref.
Its extremly cynical & often down right dangerous but Brive only have themselves to blame. They did not kick their penalties (on the advice of their coach
) and fell into the sort of "handbags" game that suited USAP (bit like Italien footballers, or Ronaldo, or Rooney, Or Drogba........Oh wtf, like soccerplayers in general ! ).
I suppose the only positive side is that no-one was seriously injured......................
