Re: any Sites Offering 9/10 Man Double Your Money?

yeah ive got a blue shirt and tie, having worked for ladbrokes and an independent in the past, i have to say hills is a far superior company to work for. theres less autonomy then there is with an independent, where youve more freedom to trade with the punters (and a PC infront of you with BF running, so when you tell them you can get a massive 12/1 on a runner that everybody else has at 10's... you can back it on betfair at about 20's to cover yourself instantly the punters used to think they were getting an amazing deal and i suppose they were, the higher the priced runner they wanted the bigger our BF margins were) but the size of the company and the ease of finding better opportunities/locations is excellent at hills, where i am at least, with ladbrokes it was impossible for me to move anywhere.

been there 2 months now and by this time next month ill be getting paid a deputy managers wage of just over 16,000 a year for the shop i work in, its what i wanted to do from the outset and ive had nothing but support and help taking shortcuts from everybody. for a long time i was earning alot more than that but have always wanted a job i can sleepwalk through, where i love the product and know ill be secure there for aslong as i need to be. i love watching the dog racing all day even without a bet on, i use BF mobile once or twice a day to place the odd £5er bet which nobody in the shops ive worked at cares about but i dont need to.

err.. anyway.. if you had to go work in a bookies, hills would be the place.. think im only getting paid 6.10 an hour (theres a complicated series of bands per hour above that you get) as a cashier which is only worth about 130 a week to me after tax+bills, by the time im getting paid at the end of june ill have about 200 quid a week in my pocket after the bills have been paid, its enough for me to live at a level im happy with and have about £40 a week to either play poker or gamble with, the dogs especially keep me in lamb dinners and jd these days, i withdraw £20-30 every couple of days from betfair and my account hasnt been below 200 since i started working again. if things carry on the way they have been for a few more weeks then ill be able to up my stakes and go for a little more.

it all adds up to me not needing to go out and work hard for my money to keep up with my friends who think theyre rich because theyre plumbers

you up for some 365 later komp, i put money in there on friday to play their 6 pays 3 tables, ive been playing all morning and was ahead about £25 quid but its been getting really boring
