Re: World Championship Snooker

I think this is a good semi-final line up.

Hendry - can the old man (jesus the guy is 39!!) defy the critics and take an 8th title
V
O'Sullivan - can he keep the demons away for another 5 days

Carter - everyone snooker commentators' tip for the top gets a chance to prove them right and fulfill his potential
V
Perry - bit of a surprise, an underdog who has impressed people with his bottle etc.

Cases can be made for backing either player in either match. I would love to see Hendry gain one more title, but at side time Ronnie needs to win a few more world titles to achieve greatness - but as we know he can slip up at anytime in a tournament.

If forced I think i would go for the overs in the Carter v Perry match - the quote is 29.5, which seems a little on the low side as I can see this being a scrap all the way through with no player managing to put a run of frames together.
