Re: 16-18 May: Ireland
Galway +0.25 @ 2.0 (3u)
you have to judge yourself how jeff kenna has imposed himself onto this galway team, and personally i think he has done well, of the 5 games he's been in charge, although he's let in 5, 3 of those in his first game which cannot be blamed on kenna, and a 2 successive clean sheets to derry and sligo in the cup. but galway are really not as poor as their league position suggests, against finn harps, their lapse in concentration after going up 1-0 and not closing down parkhouse's belter was their undoing when they were by far the better team.
ucd are equally poor infront of goal and missing a couple of players at back most importantly their captain.
with 2 fairly equal teams, the money has to be the team who will be out to play the better football tonite and at least earn a draw.
St Pats +0.5 @ 2.00 (1.5u)
(1.5u_st pats 1x2 @ 3.0 & 1.5u_st pats draw @ 3.1)
i think these odds are well out of place, in which league in europe do argueably the 2 top teams in the league offer a +0.5hcp at even money?
it is no different to our previous drogheda +0.25 @ 2.05 away to cork bet.
tbh, i'd consider both 1st teams fairly equal, but drogs most definitely have the better squad and with fahey up against his old side, he'll be well up for this one.
pats have the firepower to douse any team in the country, and drogs are not getting the rub of the green of late and i can imagine they will be out for a result tonite, but st pats are ever so dangerous on the counter.
*only down side to the bet is u lose 3u if drogs win.
