Re: English Premiership 22-23 October

McCann for Villa is massive but he hasnt been as influential lately as he was in the previous 2 seasons. Without him at times we struggle to have any bite but although it was Bakkes first game v Blues he provides that & so if fit I dont see us missing McCann as before. Baros hasnt played that much for us so nthats hard to judge, but Angel should be fully fit although hes failed to score as yet this term, but Phillips will be playing with weight off his shoulders as after sundays goal he is revered no matter what happens now.
The problem as I see it is that both Bouma & Lloyd Samuel miss out which probably means Barry dropping back into left back which will unhinge the midfield. Hughes, Ridgewell & Mellberg will continue as the rest of the defence & Mellberg at last seems to be returning to form. The midfield then will probably be Davis, Milner & Bakke, with the other slot being either Hendrie who I think is still injured & will check, or Djemba Djemba...which is a problem as he is crap by anybodys estimations
