Re: Scot's Premier - 25th/26th Oct

It was a strange matchup really. Looking at Aberdeen from Saturday where they look quite poor, and United who were all over Falkirk and really should have scored more than 3, you could be forgiven for thinking that it was a decent price on DU.

But both yourself and Para (and it was a thought that occured to me when first looking at the card) said that 'for some reason' you can't see Aberdeen losing that one.

Its back to the old thing about gut feelings. I know its not saying much to favour the 1X in that game, but it was certainly one of those that for whatever reason nearly everyone I spoke to or read the thoughts of 'just couldn't see Aberdeen losing', despite the stats and form pointing perhaps a little more to value on the away.

A good win anyway

As you say, United will struggle - mostly as a result of their inconsistency. They had so many chances v Falkirk, yet sound absolutely toothless in the reports Ive read and your overview. Not in trouble of relegation, but like you say a bottom six place beckons, and Mr Thompson won't be happy.
