3 Picks for me this week and a couple of old favourites of mine amongst them.

Davis Love @20/1: Old Davis loves this tournament and he has an unbelievable record in it. Hes won it 5 times and has had 11 top 10 finishes in the event over the years. He's having a decent year and has only missed 1 cut. At 20/1 and with his phenomonal record around here, he looks a good E/W bet.

Scott Verplank @50/1:Thought old Scotty had a decent enough Masters last week and I think he's gonna come good one of these days. Had him in this last year and he was looking good until a poor final round shuffled him down to 21st. He has form around here though and has a 3rd and a 5th to his name over the last 6 years.

Danial Chopra @80/1: According to the PGA site Chopra names Harbour Hill as one of his 3 favourite courses on the tour. I've picked him a couple of times this season and hes been pretty consistent. Hopefully he can sneak a place for me this weekend.

The weather played its part yesterday with the late starters having to put up with the wind. 18 of the top 20 played their rounds in the early benign conditions. One of those was Big Ernie

My fellas all started late in the day apart from Chopra who was going along nicely before he decided to get himself disqualified at the 17th for an illegal drop! Plonker. Verplank is level and Davis Love is +1 after a bad back 9.

Hopefully the late starters today get the worst of the weather and come back to the rest of the field a bit. Must be said that Big Ernie is looking good at this stage though.(Currently 7/4)
